As someone with a body shaped like a piece of plank, I have a soft side for garments that are backless or have a low-back as I feel it is feminine and sensual. It is, in my opinion the perfect spot to show skin without being trashy (unless the garment has bazillion straps like a spider-web!) and it is classy and elegant at the same time.

Absolutely love this on Rihanna not to mention that she's got style!
